 Massive Dumonthier Gun Cane (8712)
I'm holding this up as the largest breech loading gun cane made at 16 mm. Not 16 gauge but mm. Thats the way the French do it. I need to learn the equivilents. It also has a massive malacca shaft, and stag horn. The only reason I kept it is because of the size. The fact that it is signed is a bonus. I'm just now becoming able to look at the inner workings of gun canes to tell who made it even if it isn't signed. I'm not there yet. In Europe Dumonthier seems to be a big deal, most novices in this country don't care. I haven't met many expert gun cane collectors, most just want a gun cane for their collection.
