 Percussion Powder Flask And Gun Tool Ram Rod (8673)
This cane is all polished brass, which I did during my early days of collecting, as everything was pretty corroded from the gun powder, oil and grease from cleaning guns. It wasn't very pretty, yet if I had it to do over again I wouldn't have done it. The shaft on this one is a powell pat. gun cleaner and comes with the screw driver and oiler, as well as the brass shaft that comes apart in 3 sections for using on barrels of different lengths. This is a non cane patent. The powder flask was added, as well as the ferrule when it was turned into a cane. You decide what that means to you, I still like it, and it's not for sale. Where would you ever find a flask like this with a push button powder dispenser that fits this mechanism perfectly. The minute I find one, this cane is gone. I was a gun collector, now only gun canes, and went to gun shows for 30 years, now cane collectors have more gun canes than gun collectors, in my opinion, because they will pay more.
