Item Detail

Pomander (8494)

These vegtable Ivory canes are underrated. Made from a koa nut in the victorian era, they took a lot of work. They are often severely, cracked, warped, or have damaged threads. Regular small cracks are ok, just as they are with ivory. The shaft on this one is exotic birdseye of some sort, I don't recognize it. Circa 1860. They are also a material, because of the color, impossible to fake.
