Sterling Pomander (8490)

I've come to the conclusion it's the grills I like with pommanders and vinaigrettes. They were all hand made, and I think pretty impossible to make today. This one is no exception, drill a round hole and use a file to fill out the shape. The handle is all one piece with hand chased threads, not lathe turned. The shaft is tiger sandel wood. The plainess of the handle makes it circa 1890.
