 Mans Vanity Stick (8454)
This one is all nickel plated brass. Shaving brush, razor all match. It had very little use, the inside is lined in purple velvet, which is all original. The coat hanger was not invented until 1898. Before that they used hooks on and in everything. Another fun collectable would be folding coat hangers, there were a lot of different styles made during those early days. They were carried to hang from the hooks that were everywhere, to keep their cloths from wrinkling. These telescoping arms are definitely factory made and store in the shaft. This one dates around 1898.
