The Ultimate Political Picnic Cane (8325)
The Jugate of McKinnley and Roseavelt is from the 1896 campaign. It's the first year celluloid pins were used in political campaigns. You can see with a loope its not paper. The pin is 2" in diameter. It's sealed under a glass dome that is bezel set and permanately attached to the threaded cover. The glass below screws off the shaft and has a complete folding ivory knife, fork, and spoon, in the glass. I didn't show them because they are not original to the cane. I do believe, something similar is what was in it, as they fit lengthwise perfectly. In the shaft is a long glass flask. The naturally barked shaft is over 1", with its original bimetal typically American ferrule.
