Jewish Candlesticks (8632)
Jewish cane that was probably made from a handle with another use. I like the way every thing fits together, but it is probably only worth what the two parts are worth. Well made to advertise the Hebrew on top. The way it is made is very clever, as the handle comes apart in 4 pieces to make a pair of candlesticks. I assume it could be owned by anyone in the congregation, who needed to use it while traveling. It is not something that would be used in the synagogue, it’s too small. Sterling and can only assume it’s 1890.
