Simons Round Cane And Umbrella Holder (8104)

This mahogany case has a acid etched S on the glass lid and Simons Bros. Phil. on the hinge for the lid. Victorian brass handles on the side. I would date this one 1875. I think its the finest case made in America. There are 12 holes around the outside for canes and 10 holes on the inside that are larger for umbrellas. Courtesy of Donald Holton Collection
